recollect and reflect

maybe you haven heard.
once christmas is here.the new year also comes along.soon its chinese new year.then valentine's.
when it comes,it all comes at once.
so its that time of the year,
where you look back at the past one year's happenings.
you tie up some loose ends,leave them behind and get ready for the newww year!

2005 held some of the happiest times in my life and some of the lowest point of my life.
people come and go.
its been one hell of a ride.
very daysofourlives,you could say that.
many lessons learnt.the hard way.
they toughen you up along the way.
the edges tho' a lil more rougher, are sharpened.
you learn to take a good hard look at the people and world around you.
you learn that all relationships are very fragile.and i mean ALL.
you never know who would readily turn their backs on you.
you learn to accept that the truth hurts.(OUCH.)
that the world really sucks and you are just choosing to live in your own world.
you learn that speed makes haste.
you learn that if there's anyone you really want to depend on,its yourself.
you learn to give your all and accepting the risk of losing it all overnight.
you learn to live with it.
oh well,you learn manymany things larh.
and of course,the experiences.

i did things i wouldn't have thought i would do them wayyy back before.
i had my long hair cut short.then i had them extended.then its back to short again.ha.
i got Ralphael; something i wouldn't expect from my rents in a million years.
i finally got the sweet taste of freedom.
i faintly remember the blurry memories of many intoxicated late nights and allnightlong tuitionfeespayingmahjong sessions.
i hold dearly the memories of those short memorable overseas trips.
you know who you are ;)

at the end of the day,
i paid my dues for all that i've done.
those days are soooo old and overdone with.

Cause it's my night
No stress, no fights
I'm leaving it all behind
No tears, no time to cry
Just making the most of life
